100% Organic MCT Coconut Oil is cold-pressed from coconut flesh. It contains a high amount of caprylic acid and capric acid. The abbreviation MCT stands for Medium Chain Triglycerides. These are saturated fatty acids that, unlike long-chain fats, are absorbed more quickly, leading to faster energy utilization compared to regular coconut oil. It is therefore considered a dietary fat suitable for paleo and keto diets. It has a neutral taste, making it suitable for both savory and sweet dishes such as soups, sauces, dips, vegetable or fruit salads. It is stable at high temperatures and is therefore suitable for cooking, baking, and grilling.

Production

The production technology and the quality of the raw materials determine the final quality of each of our products. That is why we ensure that coconuts used for PURITY VISION® oils come only from pristine areas. In the case of Organic MCT Coconut Oil, this is tropical Sri Lanka.  

Organic MCT Coconut Oil is produced from the flesh of fresh coconuts within 48 hours of harvest. Thanks to cold mechanical pressing, it retains its characteristic coconut aroma and all beneficial vitamins and nutrients.  

After pressing, gentle fractional distillation follows. This is a process during which, due to different melting points, only the above-mentioned medium-chain fatty acids are extracted from the original oil. In this way, the healthiest form of coconut oil is obtained.
