HOW TO USE ORGANIC VITAMIN SERUMS?

We believe that choosing the right serum for your skin can be a complicated task, especially when you have several products to choose from. That’s why we’ve prepared this article to help you understand how our serums work, who they are intended for, and how to incorporate them into your daily skincare routine. Over the past few days, we’ve carefully collected your questions about our facial serums and prepared the following answers:

1. Can I apply two serums one after another?

Our facial serums were designed to complement each other. It’s ideal to combine serums within your morning and evening skincare routine. It is important to wait a few minutes between each serum application until it is fully absorbed, then you can apply the second serum.

    2. What serum combination is suitable for combination skin?

We made sure that all serums are suitable for all skin types. Each serum targets slightly different concerns, and by combining them, you give your skin everything it needs. For combination skin, the best choices are the Organic Retinol Serum, Organic Niacinamide Serum, or Organic Power Serum if you struggle with acne. However, you won’t go wrong if you choose the Organic Hydro2 Serum or Organic Vitamin C Serum either.

      3. Can the Power Serum be used as a night serum?

Yes, just avoid combining it with the Organic Retinol Serum. If you're unsure about other combinations, you can always find the information on the product box or label.

        4. Can Power Serum be combined with any niacinamide serum?

Exactly — this combination is not recommended because niacinamide has a higher, neutral pH. If an acid comes into contact with a higher pH environment (such as niacinamide), its effectiveness decreases and it is not properly absorbed by the skin. However, if you allow enough time between applying the serums, their effectiveness should not be reduced.

          5. Which serum is suitable for use on holiday after sun exposure?

The best helper after sun exposure is the Organic Hydro2 Serum, which provides your skin with necessary hydration and soothes it at the same time. It contains bamboo water, cucumber extract, and chamomile, all known for their calming properties.

            6. How to include the serums in the Rose Ritual?

You can combine the new serums with other PURITY VISION serums — just follow the same guidelines. The Organic Rose Serum contains hyaluronic acid, so the same combination rules apply as for the Hydro2 Serum. In your skincare routine, first cleanse your skin with the Organic Rose Cleansing Oil, then gently wipe away impurities using a warm, damp towel. Next, use the Organic Rose Toner. After applying the toner, apply the mentioned serum, and once it is absorbed, use Organic Rose Water to prepare your skin for the final step — massaging in the Organic Rose Oil with prickly pear and Q10.

              7. Should serums be applied to damp skin?

Serums are water-based, so it is not necessary to apply them to damp skin — although you can. The exceptions are the Organic Retinol Serum and Organic Power Serum, which should always be applied to dry skin for best absorption. On the other hand, applying the Organic Hydro2 Serum to damp skin increases its effectiveness.

              8. Is the lower concentration of active ingredients (compared to other brands) still effective?

The serums are formulated to be maximally effective while avoiding irritation during daily use. It is also important to consider the specific form of the active ingredients and their optimal dosage. When it comes to active ingredients in skincare, consistency matters far more than high concentrations.

              9. Which serum is suitable for eczema-prone skin?

The Organic Niacinamide Serum is ideal for eczema-prone skin. Niacinamide is well‑known for its anti-inflammatory properties and can greatly support compromised skin barrier function. The Organic Hydro2 Serum also plays an important role, providing needed hydration, strengthening the skin barrier, and reducing the severity of eczema.

              10. Does Power Serum work for acne?

Yes, the Organic Power Serum is an ideal helper for acne-prone or congested skin thanks to its salicylic acid and zinc content, which help reduce excess oil and redness. It can be used as a spot treatment or on the entire face.

              11. Is a 0.05 concentration in the retinol serum truly effective? Isn’t it too little?

Retinol at a lower concentration can achieve excellent results just like stronger formulas. Higher concentrations, on the other hand, may cause irritation or redness. If you’re new to retinol, it is generally recommended to start with a lower concentration, especially if you have sensitive skin. Our Organic Retinol Serum is therefore a perfect choice for all “beginners” using this active ingredient.

              12. Which serum is suitable for breastfeeding mothers? Are the serums safe during pregnancy?

Almost all serums are suitable for breastfeeding mothers, with the only exception being the Organic Retinol Serum, which is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Retinol is the most concentrated form of vitamin A and provides exceptional benefits for the skin — it helps reduce wrinkles, fights acne, and significantly supports collagen and elastin production. For best results, retinol must be used consistently over several months, and during this period it is necessary to protect the skin with SPF.

We hope this article answers most of your questions about our vitamin serums and that you will be able to fully enjoy your daily ritual of beauty with them.
