Butter Pearls Made from Organic Shea Butter

Try something new and bake healthier treats this Christmas! Did you know that PURITY VISION® products can also be used for cooking? In this recipe, we use Organic Shea Butter, which is an excellent alternative for baking and can replace classic butter. Thanks to its great consistency, the dough will be beautifully tender, and its nutty aroma and flavor are sure to impress.



WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 80 g Organic Shea Butter
  • 20 g coconut sugar
  • 150 g spelt flour
  • 16 g organic vanilla cane sugar
  • 20 g hazelnuts


METHOD
Before we start preparing the dough, toast the hazelnuts. Place them in a preheated oven at 175 °C and roast for about 5 minutes. Then remove the thin skins from the nuts. Sift the flour and mix it with the coconut sugar and vanilla sugar. Set aside one packet of vanilla sugar for coating the cookies after baking. Melt the Organic Shea Butter over low heat and then mix all ingredients together. Let the prepared dough rest in the refrigerator for one hour. Cut off small pieces of dough, flatten them, place a hazelnut in the center, and shape into a ball. Bake for about 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 175 °C, and while still hot, coat the cookies in vanilla cane sugar.

WHY COCONUT SUGAR?
